After Care

Anti-Wrinkle After Care

  • Avoid rubbing or touching the treated area until the morning after your treatment. This includes not having any facial treatments, lasers or massage. This is to help avoid any complications.

  • It is recommended that you don't lie down for 6 hours post-treatment

  • Avoid exercise + consumption of alcohol for 24 hours post treatment

  • Avoid any exposure to heat treatments such as sauna, hot tub or tanning for 1 week post-treatment

  • Paracetamol is recommended for any headaches or pain. Try to avoid medicines such as Ibuprofen (Nurofen) or diclofenac (Voltaren) for 24 hours post-treatment.

  • There is a small risk of bruising. If this occurs, don't worry, it's only temporary! Arnica tablets or hirudoid cream may help reduce bruising time if it is of concern.

  • Your treatment will take 4-7 days to start working. It may take up to 2 full weeks to see the full results. If, after 2 weeks, you feel that you still have more muscle movement than you would like, this can be adjusted at your post injection assessment, at an additional cost.

Please schedule a follow up appointment if desired after two weeks.
